Small 4in x 4in x 1.5in wooden panels provide the perfect canvas for me to build mixed media pieces. Instead of displaying them as just pieces of art, (as you can see in my portfolio as well), I created a book to better showcase my art and my skills as a designer. All of the 4x4’s are inspired by places I have traveled to. My process begins by selecting a paint chip and building my palette from that color. Then I search my own photos, magazines, and newspapers for other tidbits while incorporating oil sticks, acrylic, spray paint, linocut, dried paint, and finishing it off with resin.
